About this listen
“Paul is dead.”
It was the late 1960's, the Beatles hadn’t toured since 1966, and some truly bizarre indications began appearing, pointing to the unthinkable: Paul McCartney had been killed in a car accident and replaced by a look-alike. The Walrus Was Paul unearths every single clue from one of rock ’n’ roll’s most enduring puzzles and takes you on a magical mystery tour of baffling, yet fascinating, hints for solving this mystery.
This preeminent treatise by R. Gary Patterson (Take a Walk on the Dark Side: Rock n Roll Myths, Legends and Curses/Hellhounds on Their Trail) is seamlessly brought to life by the full-toned resonance of Mike Dawson's narration.
Join the Beatles on this magical mystery tour!

What a Paul Is Dead Book Should Be
I picked up this book years ago at a new defuncted bookshop here in Australia, once I found audible I saw there was an audiobook version, so I had to get it!
R. Gary Patterson once again shows his knowledge of music folklore as he did in his book "Take a Walk on the Dark Side", as he not only presents the clues but the history of the urban legend itself, rather than trying to convince us it as real, like SOME books I could mention.
Mike Dawson delivers the narration wonderfully in the same informative yet spooky matter as he did in Dark Side, I can see why R. Gary likes using him so much.
This Is what a Paul Is Dead book should be, go into not only the clues but also go into the history of how this famous urban legend started.
I recommend any Beatles fan pick up this book.
