Marion Zetland lives with her domineering older brother, John, in a decaying Georgian townhouse on the edge of a northern seaside resort. A timid spinster in her 50s who still sleeps with teddy bears, Marion does her best to shut out the shocking secret that John keeps in the cellar.

Compelling but the end was unsatisfying.

I really enjoyed this for the most part. I didn’t want to stop listening and finished it in less than a day.
But I felt that the set up just didn’t quite deliver what I was expecting in the end.
Marian was an interesting character, but I was hoping from more from her, or a bit more of a climax in the story.

The narrator was fantastic !
