About this listen
Scott McKenzie's father killed his mother and himself. Scott vowed to do anything in his power to stop similar murders.
He longed to be a police officer, but a tour in Vietnam in 1970 derailed that career. Two years later, wounded in body and soul, Scott died. He didn't go on to what was next, though. Instead, he woke up with a chance to live his life over and over until he got it right.
Murderers will never see him coming.
But, by using violence to save others, is he losing his own soul?
Includes a special bonus note read by the author.

A master of thought provoking stories and sci-fi
Once I started the Middle Falls Time Travel Series, I wasn't able to stop, thank you Audible for making several of these books free to listen to, because you know it will only increase sales of Shawn's books, unless of course it was Shawn's idea. One thing that has always slightly bothered me about these books was the suicide theme in regards to starting the repeat lives process, not a great idea for anyone out there that is feeling low, However future stories in the series leave this behind or do not emphasize it as much and move on to how to make one's life better and more meaningful. The reason I am writing this review for this particular book in the series is that if you want to see a very simlar tale on the small screen then check out 'The Devils Hour' as it takes a lot of beats from this book, although it adds a lot of ideas to it (it is by no means a straight copy).
Shawn Inman has created very real characters and situations where the decisions made are true to life and leave you thinking about them along time after you have read or in this case listened to them.

Temporal Time Travel Tales Told Terrifically
This seventh book in the series again brings a completely different storyline to the fore, but is nicely interwoven with the characters from Book 6!

Can't get enough of this series. This episode was action-packed and nerveracking. Highly recommend, definitely read all books in order.

a different tact
while I have enjoyed the series I am finding the repeating crossover stories a little annoying will be nice to have a book that explains why middle falls is so special or is it happening everywhere

Spending time with Scott.
This is with out a doubt one of the most thoughtful and well crafted “time travel” stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of immersing myself in.
As layered and deep as a King novel, with characters you feel as if you’ve known your entire life.
5 out of 5!
