Forced to leave the Clan and her young son, Ayla sets out alone to travel the frigid steppes until she finds the valley of horses. Fantastic
Absolutely loved continuing the story. Couldn't stop listening. The detail when explaining scenes and narration are wonderful.

Great story but too much erotica
Great continuation of Ayla's story and interesting new characters. I love the descriptions of the natural environment and geological formations etc too. I like how you're able to know and get inside the character's heads.
I only didn't give 5 stars because sex scenes happened too often. Not bad if you like erotica, but I would prefer the story with much less frequency.

can not stop listening
Read the first book The Clan of the Cave Bear and hoped the second book was going to be as good... IT WAS INCREDIBLE.. About to download the third in the series.

I adore this whol series, this is my favourite book
I have loved listening to the story, after having read it at least 30 time. I just had to skip over the saucy bits, too much listening to those!!

The past of a forgotten Civilisation
It was amazing to learn how people used to live with their own made tools and how nature was part of it including animals and the knowledge of plants.
I am looking forward to the 3rd book „The Mammuts Hunter“

I absolutely love this entire series!
The entire Earths children series is my absolute favorite story that i have ever read!
I will definitely be sharing this story with my little girl when she is old enough and with many others. It is Inspiring, entertaining, amusing and educational. I am so grateful to Jean Auel for taking the time to write this and I truly hope that one day the film created of this series will go to air and become a world wide hit so that we can discover more about our ancestral past, in order for human kind to reconnect with what we have lost in this day and age.
