THE INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!

Starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews * Publishers Weekly * Library Journal

Named a “Must-Read” by TODAY, Us Weekly, Bustle, BuzzFeed, Goodreads, Entertainment Weekly, Publishers Weekly, Southern Living, Book Riot, Woman’s Day, The Toronto Star, and more!

For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime—maybe even love—in this romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling authors of Roomies.

Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion...she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas.

Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there’s a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo.

Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is...Olive doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be.

With Christina Lauren’s “uniquely hilarious and touching voice” (Entertainment Weekly), The Unhoneymooners is a romance for anyone who has ever felt unlucky in love.

Freakin' LOVE IT!!

Before buying I read some of the other reviews - one in particular saying that it was predictable. That's true, but in the BEST way!! I binged this book so hard. Pretty sure all the other commuters thought I was crazy as I drove to and from work, grinning like crazy!! Definitely planning to check out some other titles by this author. You've got a new fan, and I have a new chick-lit fave author!!

A great read for a lazy day at the beach

I really enjoyed this book and the way the relationship between Olive and Ethan evolved. Olive's sardonic outlook and the banter between her and Ethan gave me heaps of LOL moments.
The story was well constructed, giving the perfect amount of colour and background to the other characters to allow the reader (and listener) to get a real sense of exactly what's going on.
Well narrated by Cynthia Farrell. Great book, content not too heavy - actually makes a perfect beach book.

Loved this book. The storyline is predictable but I was still all here for it.

Loved the story

I think I would have liked it better if the male voices sounded better. Thought Ethan sounded like a dopey surfer.
Loved the story.

Great story

Well written and narrator was great. Good character development. Only a few sex scenes and they were mainly glossed over.

10/10

I enjoyed this book so much. It’s definitely not a new plot line, the fake boyfriend/husband/partner that hates the protagonist has been done time and again, but Christina Lauren is a great author and injects such personality into her characters. There are lots of unpredictable little twists in the book that make for a wonderful listen. I highly recommend this book!!
