Daniel Clay fought across the galaxy as a corporate soldier. He left the violence behind for a life of science, raising a family far from the bloodshed of the Corporation. Unique & Engaging
This book has very unique world building and the writing is from several points of views of different characters that each have an important role in the unfolding storyline. The plot is quite elaborate and complex, but very engaging and the writing style draws you in. The story is kind of like 'Avatar' but in this case it's a superstitious cast society on a 1960th tech level being confronted with a super high tech planet encompassing corporate Empire. The narration was awesome too. I can't wait for the rest of the series as it is a cliff hanger.

awesome book!
awesome book . loved the quote about stocking up on toilet paper. can't wait to read the he next in the series.
