The storytelling

Wilkie tell tell a tale about characters, imperfect, believable and a bit quirky at times. I love the way the story weaves like life does.

Wonderful story,

I couldn’t put it down. Great to read this variation of how true love finally gets there.
This time anyway.💞

Another great story by Wilkie Collins

I have really enjoyed reacquainting myself with the masterful writing of Wilkie Collins - writer of 1850-60’s - such wonderful stories with timeless themes and messages about social injustices- he was a friend of Charles Dickens. I appreciate his writings much more now but even as a schoolchild reading “The Moonstone” as a home reader I was captivated by the story. Wilkie Collins remains one of my favorite authors

Victorian masterpiece

It is a few years since I last read The Woman in White and The Moonstone, and I had forgotten just how good Wilkie Collins is; how well he constructs his stories and builds suspense, relentlessly pulling you in until it is simply impossible to tear yourself away! And Samuel West is a pure delight to listen to, adding another layer of pleasure to what is already a wonderful story.
