About this listen

We've been at war with them for our entire existence, yet completely blind to their machinations. Etheric parasites are secretly infecting the world's population, feeding off the cosmic light of our spirit forms that connect us to higher dimensions. Our ancestors warned us about these dark, manipulative beings, known as Nagas and Archons. An inter-dimensional porthole incident in ancient Ur saw Earth sprinkled with deposits of a black liquid crystal goo, which is Archon consciousness made manifest. This organic AI, incompatible with our carbon-based forms, psychically manipulates leaders and world governments to pursue a trans-human, mechanised agenda. Once man has integrated with technology, the Archons can physically invade our bodies and absorb us completely.

Through the cycles of time, our inter-dweller has been replaying history, guiding us to make the right choices to free ourselves. And yet we are all still here, playing out our roles of the innocent, the lover, the healer, the warrior, the seeker, the destroyer, the ruler, the sage, the creator, the orphan, the magician and the fool.

Such Scope!

If this isn't one of the most ambitious compostions you've ever read, I want to know what is. The scope of this work comes together over the read and it some time before it dawns on you.
I cannot help but ponder the mind able bring such scope to a wonderful finalè that both satisfies and sends you mind into realms beyond your physical existance.
Bravo Traci 👏. Wow.

I will say, however, that despite the readers great efforts in bringing different voices and personalities to characters, I found the style very tough going as a listen. I choose audio due to 1. my eyes and ability to concentrate on physical reading as I age, and 2. because my best time for reading is in a plane or a car. However, I found myself wishing I could both read and listen.
I mean not to take it away from the reader's awesome efforts here. They are to be applauded. I just found it hard to stay on point, despite a truly engaging tale.

Great story but

Another excellent instalment from Traci Harding. As excellent as the voice artist was, I found the accent compromised the clarity of narration. Perhaps if I’d read the book previously it would have been easier to glean the nuances and details. As it was I just couldnt grasp the complexity of some of the character connections.
