About this listen

A man from the desert follows the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in hopes of being martyred for Allah’s sake. After receiving a share of the spoils from a battle, he tells the Prophet that his true wish is to die in battle and enter Jannah. The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) assures him that if he is truthful, Allah will fulfil his wish. Soon after, the man is struck by an arrow in the exact spot he had pointed to, and the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prays for him, witnessing his martyrdom. A powerful story of sincerity and faith. This story is authentic, told to us by the noble Companions of the Prophet (may Allah be pleased with them), and was collected by Imam An-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and classed as authentic by Imam Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him).
