Enjoyable read.
Really enjoyed it. Lovely story with quirky plot and wonderful descriptive lines, brought back memories of growing up in Britain. Uplifting.

Wonderful!
It took me a while to decide to try this book, I thought the child characters might make it childish. Was I ever wrong! Fantastic story and narration, I wished it would not end. Joanna Cannon is a wonderful storyteller.
