About this listen

A warrior with a secret, a ruthless band of cutthroats, and a monster of ancient legend converge in this fantasy from the author of the Mountain Man series.

It’s a time of war. After years of relentless battle, the tired nation of Sunja realizes its spine is close to breaking. Desperate for aid, the country’s king dispatches a company of soldiers to the north in a desperate plea for help from its neighbors. A Sunjan cavalier called Bloor has the unenviable task of leading the mission. His doomed and divided command will soon discover it’s not the war-torn northern wilderness—or the legions of hated Nordish soldiers—they need to be on guard against. A much more sinister threat awaits them, just out of sight of Sunja’s high walls, one that threatens to rip them all apart—and swallow them whole.

The Troll Hunter is a story of heroic fantasy from the bestselling author of the Breeds and Mountain Man series.

Great book but where’s book 6 of 131 days?

I initially got this book mostly because of the want and need for book 6 and finding out the championship and the house of 10 in 131 days. WE NEED MORE PLEASE. But this book was great I don’t recommend listening until you listen to 131 days serious or you could listen first actually depends which books you want to introduce you into the armies of sunja and the north actually this is a good listen first but if you listened to 131 days first it’s fine but listen closely there’s an unsolved incident in 131 days that you find out in this book. Loved the troll hunting, cool end,

Another cracker

Good story. It did take a little bit to really get going but once in I was set.
The sort of story that is a good tale, you know where it’s going but there are still a few surprises.
I’ll keep an eye out for more.

loved mountain man this is disappointing

Few glimpses of good writing surrounded by predictable story and stereo typical characters. The princess character was so 2 dimensional and like an old school fairy tale I had to switch off and return after 6 hours of suffering.
