Very clear and energetic

I'm a law student who required to read a lot of cases and compulsory readings, I got no enough time to read other the non-required readings so listening to this favourite book saves my time and I comprehend easily, the narrator brings me to a new level of experience!

Not plain spoken

If you were looking for a plain English text on tools of argument that is engaging and approachable, this is not it keep looking.

If you’re a law student or work in a law or law adjacent field, you will probably have an easier time tracking the jargon used in this book. This doesn’t make it less dry and more approachable.

Get to the point already

I'm a lawyer and I bought the book thinking that it might offer tips for me to be a better practitioner. While there were certain tips, the delivery was extremely slow. It took about an hour for the author to just get to the actual point. It was painful to sit through.

Too much history about law

Boring. As a lawyer I did not enjoy it. I would imagine non-lawyers would be bored out of their minds. The first hour was about the history of law ... snooze snooze. I stopped after that. Title looked good but not worth it. It was like a lecture from a boring law professor.
