Wells explains that he was actually present at the dinner party in Richmond fifty years earlier, when the Time Traveller returned from his first fateful journey into the future. Entertaining

i have never read the book so i don't know how far this dramatization strays from the original, but despite the concepts feeling a little dated, it was fun to listen to
