Publisher's Summary

"A thrilling, pulse-pounding addition to the genre with compelling science and a frightening twist." (Nicholas Sansbury Smith, NY Times and USA Today best-selling author of the Extinction Cycle and Hell Divers series)

This audiobook contains the first four audiobooks of the Tide series, filled with post-apocalyptic action, suspense, and intrigue.

A devastating bioweapon will change the face and fate of humanity as we know it.

Captain Dominic Holland leads a crew of skilled covert operatives and scientific personnel aboard a clandestine ship dedicated to fighting chemical and biological warfare. Their missions have taken them across the world to combat sinister plots and dangerous adversaries. But their next assignment is more dangerous than any they faced before.

Far off the Eastern Coast of the US, intelligence officers discover a covert laboratory on an abandoned oil rig with unspeakable horrors. Twisted creatures wash ashore across the country. Hospitals are overrun by patients suffering from an incurable disease with terrifying symptoms.

Dom and his team may be the only ones equipped to find out why. They embark on a globe-trotting race to unravel the apocalyptic mystery behind the bioweapon destroying civilization.

But will their efforts be enough to turn the tide - or is humanity’s fate already sealed?

Dom is inspiring in ways the author couldn’t imagine

Had to restart half way through to pick up on the little details that set the stage for this amazing book series, a great listen with a unique story

Crazy Ride

Almost didn't download after reading a review that described it as exhausting. Yep, it is, but that makes it a rollercoaster of fun. Probably dont read this type of book for a slow end to the world. It's not sophisticated but on a long drive I like something keeps me engaged and awake. You find yourself rooting for the characters and keeping pace with them probably wish you had a little more cardio time under your belt. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There's something a little annoying about the narrator at first. Cant put my finger on it but not so much to put me off. Just have fun with it, good apocalyptic fun :) Looking forward to Book 5 this Friday.

Nice listen that draws you in

It’s a good storyline that eventually starts to sound good. In the first book it kinda sounded like it was written by a primary school kid and narrated by his best mate.
But the following books improved
Perhaps the author should do some research into correct lingo for private military firms etc
Make the read/listen more palatable

This Author is just exhausting!

I am up to book 3 now but I can’t listen to any more of this story, it’s just WAY too exhausting. I have persevered to book 3 but it’s actually getting worse as the books progress. Is it well written? Yes it is BUT you are not allowed any reprieve from the constant drama! The pedal is to metal ALL the time and if anything can possibly go wrong for the main characters, it will. They are seriously the unluckiest people EVER and quite frankly, it’s just exhausting.
This author could be fantastic if he learned balance in his story telling. Have a bit of down time to develop your characters & their relationships and let your readers catch their breath between battles. You don’t even allow your characters to sleep before they are engaged in the next 10 battles! Seriously, what humans could maintain that ridiculous pace??? You need to strive for balance. Less is definitely more for this Author.

Pretty bad

Sorry .. but this is written badly .. it's like a first draft that hasn't been cleaned up.. unrealistic dialogue.

Great storyline however

It is really difficult to stay interested in the story. I have listened to the first two books and I’m left honestly feeling it sounds like a dubbed manga anime unfortunately.
