Loved the humour of this book, very different to the Count of Monte Cristo. At times hilarious with the adventures D'Artagnan contrasted with the sinister behaviour of the protagonist and sad demise of several characters. Ripping good read.

I read a Three Musketeers book when I was young - this was so much better and obviously more authentic to the original. The performance by the reader was outstanding and made the nuances and differences in the writing an exciting part of the story. I loved it.
