About this listen
Textbooks are boring! Learn German the fun way with this bilingual fantasy story about a young boy named Griff, his dog, dark magic, a motorcycle-riding wizard and more.
When a boy is killed in front of Griff using dark magic, a Wizard appears too late to stop the act, but instead finds Griff and his dog. But all is not as it seems and Griff and his hound soon find themselves in the care of an old witch. At least until a magical creature comes hunting for them and they are forced to flee.
Learn more than 2,500 words of german vocabulary with clause-by-clause translations and a light-hearted story to keep the learning fun!
Just listen and absorb with this 'comprehensible input' approach to language acquisition.
Please note: This audiobook is in German.

No other resource for German like this one
I rarely write reviews. But sometimes an excellent product leads me to action! This audiobook uses an exceptionally effective method for learning German. Each sentence is spoken in fast German, then in English and then in fractionally slower German, twice. I think this method is most useful for those who have some background in German language (ECF level A2 for example) but those at other levels should also get considerable benefit. I would encourage the authors to create more books like this. While this story is complete in itself, I would look forward to hearing more about the further adventures of Griff! A small technical note (not so important) is that part of the story is repeated. But it doesn’t really matter as repetition is the key to language learning anyway!
