Cruisey storyline
I enjoyed the book, it had a cruisey storyline, but lacked a little substance. The narrators voice really suited the character though.

Wholesome and heartwarming
Beautiful, easily digestible story. Really cute narrator.
It brings me back to the feeling of first love, summer holidays and that giddy feeling of not knowing how the other person feels

Easy read
Picked this one up after watching the tv series and definitely didn't disappoint. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy read that can be finished in one sitting.

Had my 14 year old reading books again
I listened to this after my daughter binge read the book - she hasn’t read a book in years and this one she couldn’t put down. Now she is onto her next book and asking for more books for her birthday. It is a great teen read - I enjoyed listening to it

Lovely story of those teenage years. Narrator's smirking tone was hard to endure though.
This was a nice story with the timeline going backwards and forwards with the main character being between maybe 11 and 15 years old. The narrator sounded like she was smirking most of thr time, possibly trying to bring in a light-hearted tone but it was quite grating to listen to.
