Fascinating and intriguing story.

Having read the Carolinas trilogy I leave hungry for more Lisa Wingate stories. They open an undiscovered world.

Great book 2 in 1 story

Thoroughly enjoyed reading. Two storeys separated but entwining. Sadly thought the local dialect in some parts of the narration whilst striving for authenticity is often very hard to understand.

Hard to listen to it.

Have tried to listen to this book twice. I can't get past the first few chapters as the accent is hard to listen to and I find myself tuning out and minutes later realise I haven't absorbed any of the content.
I usually persevere to listen to a book, particularly when I have paid for it, but I just couldnt get into it.
