Publisher's Summary
In a small Arizona town, a man counts his blessings: a loving wife, two teenage daughters, and a job that allows him to work at home. Then "The Store" announces plans to open a local outlet, which will surely finish off the small downtown shops. His concerns grow when "The Store's" builders ignore all the town's zoning laws during its construction. Then dead animals are found on "The Store's" grounds. Inside, customers are hounded by obnoxious sales people, and strange products appear on the shelves. Before long the town's remaining small shop owners disappear, and "The Store" spreads its influence to the city council and the police force, taking over the town! It's up to one man to confront "The Store's" mysterious owner and to save his community, his family, and his life!

worst BL story I've listened to
This is my 4th BL book and this is the worst one I've listened to. Very very slow ,boring and really uneventful. The narrator was hard to listen to , seemed uninterested and little effort in voicing the characters. Maybe he found this quite boring too? not sure if I'll go back to any more books, which is a shame as I thoroughly enjoyed the other 3 books.

Strange book
I finished this book, mainly just to hear how ridiculous is.
unfortunately, I was unaware of the revolting incest part nearer to the end, which was just too much to listen to. So if you're not into Father/daughter explicit sex scenes please be warned!

Great book by a horror master
A great book by Bentley Little. A bit more slow and steady then some of his others but super enjoyable and he has a great sense of the Corporate greed and madness and sinisterness that our worst nightmares could not even imagine and so his observations are actually very insightful in certain ways about the evils of consumerism.
