Icy suspense
A very clever thriller with twists and surprises aplenty. It took a while for me to find the rhythm of the story but once I did I was off and raced through the book eagerly.

80% boring
This book was an effort to get through. The first 80% is painfully boring but picks up in the last 2 hours. Unfortunately by then I no longer care and wasn't invested.
The narrator was fantastic however

Boring! Just dull.
I usually enjoy Sharon Bolton’s books, but her last 3 books have been so average.
This one was the tipping point for me, I returned it and I don’t think I will be buying anymore books by the author for a while.
The story is in my opinion just boring and confusing.
I feel disappointed and sad that it’s come to this but there is always hope she will go back to basics and we get a new Lacey book.
