About this listen
From USA Today best-selling author Leslie Pike comes a stand-alone single-mother friends-to-lovers feel-good romance.
Good-bye Montana.
It’s me, not you. I’m getting out. Moving on. Specifically? To Paris where the apartment I inherited is waiting for me. I’ve pretty much perfected the art of being single and nothing is going to keep me here. Especially not a gorgeous single mom of two that I have no business thinking about.
In all humility, Van LyonDear dating app, I don’t know how to write a dating profile, but if I were to give it a try, I guess I’d start with:
Thirty-eight slightly sarcastic mother of teenage twins, anchored in Billings, Montana. I like sweatshirts, sweatpants, and eating out of a pan. Not interested in any BS.
My hotter-than-hell friend Van Lyon need not apply.
Yours in sexual frustration,
Layla Silver
What if your happily ever after has been right in front of you all along?

Beautiful story enhanced by the narration
At the beginning I found the hero unlikeable with his excessive dwelling on women's sexual attributes to the exclusion of all else. However that was clearly put there to mark the beginning part of a journey into finding true relating and love. It wasn't that sex was excluded, and there were sex scenes. However the focus in connection, deepening love and great friendship came to dominate.
This was all done in the context of a loving extended family with interesting interactions.
With Zachary Webber (a favorite) narrating, this was a beautiful book. Stella Hunter was also excellent.
Recommended. This is marked as a favourite to listen to again.
