A Fantastic Foray into the Frontier
The Sisters Brothers brings you to the American frontier and fills it with a parade of quirky characters and memorable moments. The titular brothers play off one another brilliantly and have a believable bond, and their entire journey is a joy to absorb.
The tale is consistently funny, but never lets its humour detract from the narrative. It is dark but not gruesome. It is at times profound, but never pretentious. My only complaint is that it ends a bit anticlimactically, though if anything this only highlights how engrossed I was.
The narration is truly exemplary. Some audiobooks simply read you the story, William Hope immerses you in the adventure.
Highly recommend!

The perfect storm.
Sometimes there's a perfect storm. Where the narrator is SO well suited to the story that it feels like it was written for them to read.
This is one of those times.
You actually feel like you are there in this grizzly, raw, frontier. Riding with the brothers, and living their life for a time.
It was so good, it made me think of oral stories told around camp fires in the past... Like he was recounting it as you watched the embers glow.

Funny and well crafted
Tarantino meets Fargo. Bitter sweet story of two brothers will leave you laughing and feeling a little sentimental all at once.

The epitome of "the journey not the destination"
what a ride this was, so many little stories happening in between Oregon and Cali and back , each character major or minor are so well written and the world building puts you right there with them highly recommend
