Senior Detective Kate Wakeland senses dark undercurrents in her beloved small town, Tallman's Valley.

The height of a devastating fire season hinders Kate at every turn. Through the smoky veil hanging in the valley, Kate begins to suspect a connection between the Witness Mountain shootings and the silent town.
But the dangers are far greater than Kate ever imagined. There are people who will kill to conceal what they know and what they've done.

Great trilogy!
I just finished the 3rd book of the Tallmans Valley series - I loved them all! So much so that I know need to go and catch up on the housework and sleep that I didn’t do as I was gripped by the story. Thanks for a great listen!

Another great book by Anni Taylor
I loved this story, it kept me constantly engaged throughout. Such great characters too, I’ll miss them.

Awesome Series - all three books!
Couldn’t put these books down! Actually, every book from Anni Taylor has had me enthralled and engrossed. One of my new favourite authors! I’m hoping a new book won’t be far away. Caroline Lee is fantastic as the narrator. Great work all round

What a finish!
Could not stop listening! Loved this series & the final book really felt it completed the set.
It did drag a little in parts. The narrator trying to do the voice of Ivy was funny. Thought it sounded more like a toddler.

Please stop doing accents!!
I liked all three books for the story lines. They were a little too long and got boring at times. The accents were horrendous!! American, Irish, Scottish etc. just awful. The rest of the narration was great Maybe not write characters who aren’t Australian?? Or get another narrator for those?

The silent town
I absolutely loved this book and I am loving the series. I really enjoy listening to Caroline Lee. I easily pick up the characters when she is reading. I am looking forward to tgr next book in this series and any other series written by Anni Taylor and read by Caroline Lee. Thankyou

The whole series…… 3 in total were a fantastic read. Highly recommend these to everyone who lives a great crime thriller

Wow. Where it all comes together.
This is where it all comes together from books 1 and 2. Very in depth with a conclusion that has a lot of scope. You need to read books 1 and 2 first to gain the most from this one. A satisfying read.
