Macindaw .... to my old, feeble mind this is like MacInnes, MacArthur etc and is pronounced "Mackindaw". The "k" is implied! Mr John Flanagan, this is your story; how did you mean for it to be pronounced ... Massindaw or Mackindaw. You are the sole arbiter!
