I don't know what to make of it.

Change of voice actor who did well. Change of paces from action to cooking or action to harvesting food and drinks. The legion side of things is becoming more of a contriction now or hindrance and why the main Mc dosen't stay away and pretend to be dead and choose his own adventure. It just seems less stressful and less problems. idk good book that dose alittle world building and some characters get to flex. oh and screaming goblin is best character along with Mavis the Goliath in this book.

Fun and Full on

Really enjoyed this entry, love the way we get to learn with Eric about the world, monsters and the magic system. Super excited to see more of the world as a whole and his journey with the cast of characters. keen for the next!

Loved Book 1-3 from start to finish.

I'm a huge fan of Roman legion stuff, so this isekai litrpg was right up my alley. Once I started listening (on Audible) I couldn't put it down and had to buy the rest of the currently available books. I've almost finished Book 3 now and I can already feel sad knowing I have to wait a whlie for the next book. It's that good!

Positives: Roman Legion stuff with lots of banter and comradery, with plenty of slice of life stuff with great memorable characters, exciting dungeon delving, solid world building with variety in locations, fantastical beasts and monsters, and an interesting magic system to top it up.

Negatives: Feels like each book ended way too soon even when they're around 15 hours.. but I guess this is kind of a positive because it's so good it feels like it finishes too soon. The sudden change of narrator in Book 3 was also slightly jarring, as Jonathan Waters is a much better VA, doing a variety of characters, male and female perfectly. Nikola Hamilton on the other hand is still a solid replacement, but if the author reads this, please consider getting Jonathan back if possible. Not a huge deal in the end though and overall it didn't distract me much once Book 3 got going. Nikola is still good, just not an A+ and more an B+ as some characters with deeper voices was a little difficult to comprehend. I just want more consistency in my audiobooks, but I do understand if VA's aren't available for one reason or another.

All in all a solid read, for anyone interested in the Isekai and LitRPG genre. I rate it up highly there with bigger titles and is probably my favorite for 2025 so far.

Another incredible story

The new narrator does a great job holding the cadence of the previous character voices. The story progresses with more amazing world building and back story on characters outside the core group. The stories tempo is excellent. Can’t wait for book 4
