First Rendell book

Thoroughly enjoyed this short story. Excellent story line good characters. Enjoyed the narration. Will read more Rendell

great fun

I was interested to read mixed reviews. I found the characters and plot to be both elegantly drawn and compelling. Simon Russell Beale offers the best pillow talk for those of us who enjoy bedtime stories on rainy nights and anytime Sunday.
