 Anna, a young countess, has lived in the glittering city of St Petersburg all her life. But when revolution tears Russia apart, her family is forced to flee to England.

Armed with an out-of-date book on housekeeping, Anna determines to become a housemaid, and she finds work at the Earl of Westerholme's crumbling but magnificent mansion. Light, but thoroughly entertaining

I chose this book for the narrator, but have found it to be a very entertaining book and have listened to it a number of times

Sweet romance

A lovely innocent romance with a fabulous collection of secondary characters. I've listened to this 4 times now. Davina Porter's narration is, as usual, brilliant.
