Publisher's Summary
Only when the darkness falls can you see the light of the stars.
For thousands of years, the scribes and singers of the Irin race have existed to protect humanity and guard the gifts of the Forgiven. They have lived in the shadows. They have kept their secrets.
But the Irin aren't the only race with secrets.
Ava and Malachi have survived the darkness, but will they ever discover the light? A powerful cabal of the Fallen may hold the answers, but to surrender them, it wants the Irin race to finally face their enemies. Both those coming from the outside and those raging within.
The Secret is the third book in the contemporary fantasy series, the Irin Chronicles, and the conclusion of Ava and Malachi's journey.

Such a fantastic series to listen to
I have LOVED listening to the first 3 books in the Irin Chronicles - all focusing on the same couple, Ava and Malachi. The narrator was amazing, and made all 3 books so enjoyable to listen to. I'm just disappointed that Ava and Malachi will no longer be the main couple, as the series moves onto telling the stories of some of the secondary characters that were prominent in the first 3 books.
In saying that - I am looking forward to reading/listening to the rest of the books in the series - and hopefully there will be many moments of Ava and Malachi in them as well.

Excellent trilogy
The 3rd of the series, The Secret brings to an end the intricate tapestry of this story. Rich in detail, alive with a believable yet fictional history, and deeply felt emotions, all three books in this series are a delight
