Pleasant story and narration

This book was an enjoyable easy listen. I liked that it had a variety of personalities characteristic of the times, and a secret society of do-gooders comprising of strong and intelligent well-bred ladies of the ton. No whiney damsels here! There's a bit of a mystery to unravel which opens the series to further developments and romance that I fully intend to explore.

interesting premise

I can't say I was totally absorbed in this title. but loved the premise of women taking control of situations considered too masculine for them. ya know ☺️ a lot of opportunities missed in this story I feel. still worth the listen.
