About this listen
In the US, more than half of households have a pet - usually more than one. They’re usually considered members of the family, and some of us even call them our “furry children”. The strength of the human-pet bond tells us as much or more about ourselves as it does about our pets, and in this audiobook, we look at why dogs and cats behave the way they do and what makes our bond with them so strong.

Interesting & worth listening to
This is a great book to listen to if you are interested in the relationship between humans & animals. It’s good to hear actual studies & not just anecdotal stories however, I’m hoping scientists don’t feel the need to study animal grieving in the lab, for me, anecdotal stories of grieving animals are relevant & I can’t think of any ethical reasons to deliberately put animals through emotional trauma to try & prove something that is already clearly obvious. However, this book covered the subject thoroughly.
