The story was good, but the ending was disappointing

The narration was excellent. The ending was disappointing. I am not sure if this is first novel or not. If it was I think that a subsequent one would improve in terms of the story. I think that it was a tad bit long and the twists and turns were not real.

Astonishingly good!

A superb storyline, with beautifully nuanced characters. Richardson is a serious talent, seemingly just getting started in his writing career, promising future works of equal, if not greater, potency.

An instant classic in the making. Weaves a web across generations and keeps you guessing until the last words. Close to a perfect story.

Thoroughly enjoyable thriller. Clever, twisty story. Very strong narration enhanced the listening experience. Hope there is more to come.

Brilliant

I was absolutely captivated by this novel as a dedicated audiobook enthusiast. From the very start, the storyline had me hooked, with its gripping twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. The character development was truly remarkable, making me feel like I was right there alongside Max Archer as he navigated through challenges and adversaries. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and extend my heartfelt congratulations to the author. I eagerly anticipate diving into all of your future works - you've gained a loyal fan from the land down under. And a special shoutout to the narrators for their impeccable accents that truly brought the story to life.
