About this listen
Full of romance and humour, this is a book about fresh starts, friendship and the unexpected places we find happiness.
This is the story of two women.
One old, one young.
One looking for new adventures. One looking for a purpose.
Both needing a friend.
And this is how, along with two little girls in need of a family, a gorgeous stranger, and a scruffy dog, they bring the whole community together every Saturday morning for love, laughter and a little bit of running…(well, power walking).
Some people come into your life when you need them the most.

Lovely read
Being stuck in bed with Covid I found this read was a pleasant distraction. Nice to read a feel good story for a change. I can relate because my family and I are park-runners in Australia. Not knowing much about the setting of the book I was looking up ParkRuns to see if there was one in Tring (there is not). I’m not sure if the main town it was set was made up but I couldn’t find one with that name either.
Would be interesting if the physical book had a map of the courses or not. I wanted to know what Claire’s PB was 😂. Really enjoyed overall 👍🏻

Cute feel good story
Story is a feel good story. Narrator’s natural voice is good and easy to listen to but every other character was done in a voice that made them sound 90years old. I found it a bit over cooked. Her natural voice is lovely.
