About this listen
Britannians on the march.
With the Carthaginians pushed inside the walls of Londinium, the Britannians can finally stop reacting and take the fight to them. Hoping to retake the British Isles and even add new allies to the Alliance, legions are dispatched to Ériu, the emerald isle, to push back Carthaginian expansion there.
Ky, a test pilot from the future and now Consul for the Britannic Empire, knows that Carthaginian retaliation is coming and prepares an explosive new surprise for the invaders.

Enjoyable but…….
Travis Starnes is on a good concept with this series. The depth of characters are quite superficial but the story is like playing a game of Civilisation with Ky introducing new concepts of technology. Very interesting perspective on society advancement. They actual story with the struggle against the all conquering Carthage has so much potential in plot development. Kevin Kemp is a brilliant narrator who truly brings this series to life. I do feel the book length is too short to utilise 1 audible credit ( two books joined together more appropriate ).

Loved it
I wish there was more!
Awesome book I thoroughly enjoyed. I wish the narration was slower as I had to listen at 0.9x speed to be comfortable but allround it was pretty good. Lots of enjoyable action too.
Another aspect I love about this book is having small pieces of implied meaning instead of spelling everything out straight away.
Anyway looking forwards to the next book!
