Publisher's Summary
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them… when they stumble haphazardly into a foreign realm.
In a world where runes hold unimaginable power, mere mortal and gifted artisan Nate must harness arcane magic to navigate treacherous paths, reveal the hidden truths of his own past, and discover the workings of the illusive ‘System’.
No big deal.
Emboldened by only his penknife and a weirdly profound understanding of runic sorcery, Nate must uncover if the path he has been thrust upon may spare his earthly existence. After all, why only leave your mark on one world… when you might leave it on two?

Could of done so more with this
First off it's not so bad overall, i dislike how the author chose to make the main character run off assumptions like they are facts and never really expanded or even brought up again in this book, maybe in book 2?. Very limited planning or even future planning, just seems like whatever happens he chooses an option without thinking about it, yet happens to be the best. Feels very western version of a Japanese Isekai anime with all the tropes that come with them. Outside the main character the others are very boring and limited in personality except for intimidating and might equals right. Hated the choice of a british voice actor for this, the character is Australian yet has no typical aussie slang.
