great story but
yes great quick listen and well paced story. well worth listening.... I just dont understand at the sound engineer review point the Author or publishing house didnt nix the terrible Russian Accent - im normally positive but it was the only foot put wrong and its a doozy ... sounds like old dithering disorirntated man than hot regency alphahole. This could be fixed.
I still peristed....but still a mood killer. Dont blame narrator blame who signed it off.

Loved the story. Terrible accent
The story is beautiful and my second favourite of the series. It's different from a lot of the usual recency or Victorian era books you read but the narrator who is not the best just couldn't do a Russian accent. It was beyond terrible and made listening very hard.
I would listen again because I love Stacy Reid, the story and because I struggle very hard to read so need to listen to the story but this one is hard to tolerate.
