The Ending wow!
Started really strong but I felt like the middle dragged out a bit too long but the ending had me gripped. Definitely getting Book 2

Very suprising with some beauitful moments and and action.
not predictable at all, I found myself gasping a lot. a lot of really sweet moments and found family. it was a little confusing at the very beginning maybe because of the names but still 5 star for the story. narrator has a beauitful voice with obvious chances for different characters.

Finally a fantasy author who can write
This was a well written book with a great fantasy world and some unexpected twists and turns. The mfc had a little too much angsty inner dialogue but this was the only drawback. Excellent book.

Could listen to this over and over. 5 stars.
The narration on this has ruined all other narration for me. Islay absolutely brought the characters and story to life.
The story is also epic. Vikings, magic, monsters, romance, angst, tragedy. There was character growth and plot development while not being overly predictable. Read the second on kindle straight after because I couldn’t wait but book 2 will be an instant audible purchase for me.

Amazing!
Loved this! Loved the characters, story just everything! I just finished the road of bones and will be the next book ASAP! Highly recommend
