This might have to be my last Simon Serrailler

I've given it a good go. This is the third in the series and there's always a tendency to want to follow through on characters and plot lines. But Serrailler is becoming more and more unlikable and there are too many plots and thoroughly distasteful people. There's no lightness, no humour, just dark horrible events and tortured relationships. And the endings are always unresolved.
Steven Pacey is, however, superb.
