liked the first not sure I can finish this one

enjoyed book 1 from first page of book w was like why take the story in this direction and it only got worse the more I read and the stupid hints in the book make me not want to finish. think I gave up 3/4 in don't really want to know what happens and avoid another stupid cliff like book 1.
