About this listen

Final Cut is the first tale of a new series, The Revenge Tour. These stories will pertain to ordinary people who take matters into their own hands after being wronged. Final Cut tells the tale of Calvin Hines, owner of a small video house in Memphis, TN.

Hines gets the chance to work on an independent film. This is the opportunity Hines needs to get his name and his production house some much needed publicity. Things go awry when the person over the film, Jack Davis, doesn't pay Hines, then refuses to give him a needed recommendation. The recommendation would enable Hines to win a contract to shoot and edit a documentary.

This documentary would give Hines and his small company the exposure needed to land more high paying jobs in the future. When the documentary job falls through because of Davis' actions, Hines feels betrayed. Hines then sets out to repay Davis in a way that would compensate Hines for his troubles.
