About this listen

A chance to reconnect.

A chance to get revenge . . .

Emily Toller has tried to forget her time at university and the events that led to her suddenly leaving under a cloud. She has done everything she can to forget the shame and the trauma–and the people involved. She has tried to focus on the life she has built with her children and husband, Nick.

But events like that can’t just be forgotten. Not without someone answering for what they’ve done.

When an invitation arrives to a University reunion, everything clicks into place. Emily has a plan.

Because if you can’t forget–why not get revenge?

A fresh, original and strikingly relatable psychological thriller, perfect for fans of ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL.

Excellent plot with twisty turns - a must read.

From the first 200 words into the Audible book of the Reunion, it had me hooked! Who was trying to kill Emily?

Polly's words flowed beautifully from the book read by Jane Collingwood, and it was a pleasure to listen to over the Easter weekend. I consumed the whole book in 2 days. I could not remove my earphones from my head.

An excellent plot and twisty turns with Emily and her so-called friends from Cambridge University kept me on my toes. The way Polly depicts Cambridge University, I feel I have been there even though I have never set foot inside the university.

A wonderful aspect of an Audible book is that you feel as if you are there, and you feel and hear Emily's pain through each chapter. There were times when Emily would make me want to shake her, get her out of her world of woe I am, and see people as they are, good or evil. However, my interpretation of what was happening was blown to pieces in the final few chapters.

Never in my dreams would I have thought her biggest adversary would have been that individual. The countdown to the revengeful Reunion is a stroke of genius. The final twist is a ripper; revenge is sweet.

This book blew me away. Great story from the very beginning to the very end. Congratulations, Polly, and exceptional book.

I can't wait for your next one.

Good premise but too many unbelievable aspects

A good and relevant premise for a story but not delivered well. Too many unbelievable twists and turns with too much “storytelling” and not enough anything else. Wouldn’t recommend. I’m someone who has to finish a book otherwise I would have ditched it halfway through!

Such an annoying protagonist

I didn’t love the story - I found the protagonist, with her whining, wallowing and ridiculously bad choices throughout to be hugely irritating. The narrator did a good job though.
