Practical and positive for young athletes and parents

This is a tremendous book. Carol has done an outstanding job at presenting positive messages on the great and the challenging times that a young athletes faces in their pathway.. She has painted a warts and all picture of the fact that there are no shortcuts to success and that success is not just a medal around your neck. The valuable learnings and growth that can come from setbacks are really well articulated and digestible for the young reader. The messages overall are also great reminders for parents supporting a growing young person showing promise as an athlete. A great read!
