Kept me captivated.
A captivating and exciting listen. I often found myself laughing, gasping, frowning and holding my breath in suspense. I was completely invested this story and the outcome. I started reading this book but i couldn’t wait to get home to pick up the book and when I found it on Audible it was a game changer. A very binge-worthy listen!

Great read! loved every minute.2nd in serie
This book was not only a great listen, it was read by an excellent performer.
Oryginal storyline , characters , highly recommend.listen to the first part if the serie, as main characters are same.

Compelling listening.
I found the narration a bit tiresome and overly dramatic. This impacts the way you feel about Langton. It’s verbal abuse to my mind. All he seems to do is yell, snap at people, (showing no leadership qualities) and behave immaturely. When are these ever qualities to seek in a lover? Then you question Anna’s attraction to him and her adoration which seems half witted. Maybe the writing doesn’t convey his power convincingly. Maybe this police procedural is a bit dated. What an unhealthy dynamic here.
