About this listen
He was supposed to be my forever love. Instead, he became my personal hell....
I wasn’t supposed to be on the beach that night.
Neither was Declan Beauchamp, the super-hot, super-bad-boy upcoming actor.
He saved me from being hurt.
But his life changed forever.
I never thought I’d see him again.
Until he returns and offers me the chance to embrace my dreams.
Now, I'm a singer with a break-out single.
Together, we’re a match-made-in-tabloid heaven.
Then, he betrays me.
Shattered, I put him behind and move on.
I even have a new boyfriend.
Except my career is in freefall.
The only consolation?
Declan isn’t faring better either.
With my future and his at stake, Declan comes up with a plan.
One movie together, and a fake relationship to catapult our futures back on track.
But when our chemistry detonates, how will I survive this encounter?
A standalone, enemies to lovers, fake relationship billionaire romance about mistakes, heartache, and second chances.

A triumph of love and redemption
"The Rebound" by L. Steele, brought to life by the incredible performances of Shane East and Rose Dioro, is a sensational journey filled with intense emotions, skilfully crafted by L. Steele.
Let's begin with the narrators. My favourite Brit: Shane East, flawlessly embodies the character of Declan Beauchamp, emitting an aura of dominance and vulnerability that practically crackles through your earbuds. His portrayal captures Declan's possessive nature and moments of raw openness with stunning precision. Meanwhile, Rose Dioro enchants as Solene Sabatini, a mafia princess whose fiery spirit is brought to life with incredible authenticity. I commend Rose on her male voice and British accent: she’s amazing and her performance is so convincing that it's easy to forget it's a woman narrating. Together, Shane and Rose create a deliciously unforgettable auditory experience.
L. Steele, the Queen of spice and angst, has truly outdone herself with this story and series. The story is a compelling fusion of passion, heartache, and second chances, keeping you hooked from the opening lines to the closing notes. The seamless integration of bookish elements into the plot adds an enchanting layer, reflecting Solene's passion for 'spicy books' and Declan's heart-warming gesture of gifting her an entire bookstore. It's a delightful touch that adds depth to their burgeoning romance.
Declan Beauchamp's character tugs at the heartstrings, his journey marked by immense suffering and the injustice he endured at the hands of Solene's brother. His pursuit of revenge is relatable, and I found myself fervently cheering him on throughout his journey. The complexities of his emotions, torn between revenge and his profound connection with Solene, are portrayed with incredible finesse.
Speaking of Solene, her character's growth and maturation are compelling to witness. The scorching chemistry between Declan and Solene is undeniable, a testament to their undeniable bond. Their path is one of redemption, intense attraction, and an unbreakable connection.
And let's not forget the tantalizing heat that this story delivers. The BDSM elements are seamlessly woven into the narrative, lending authenticity to their relationship. Shane East, with his commanding presence, delivers a performance that resonates deeply, capturing both the commanding dominance and the vulnerability that Declan exhibits in his love for Solene.
In summary, "The Rebound" is a resounding triumph of romance and redemption and is an essential listen for those seeking passion, emotion, and a love story that transcends adversity. Kudos to L. Steele and cast for creating this remarkable work of art! All the Stars!
