Fabulous!
Any book that can make you question your own life and give insight into your own relationship gets a big tick from me. Performed wonderfully by Claudia. Amazingly written by Leanne. I felt completely immersed in Kitty’s experience and felt all of her highs and lows as the story progressed. Fabulous!

I’m bereft it’s over - more please!
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I was so invested in Kitty and Leo, and their transformative friendship that I had to stay up til 4am to see how it ended. I adored both characters, and the way Leeanne Slade slowly revealed their backstory, especially Leo’s.
I loved the growth Kitty made through Leo’s marriage prep ‘dates’, and she was so resistant to letting go of her old ways of life until she had no choice. Leo showed how he wanted the best for Kitty but at the same time was resisting his own change that was happening while he was helping her. I just wanted to hug Leo while at the same time slap him silly about taking his own advice he gave to Kitty, also to be honest, for all their ‘truth’ talk he wasn’t! If anything he was creating a scene for miscommunication to happen and, in turn, break his own heart.
This book had in laughing, tearing up and also cheering. The slow revelation of side characters was also beautifully done, and reminded me so much of Mhairi McFarlane.
The narration as also top notch, Claudia Jessie has a lovely voice and she really brought to life Kitty. I ask super picky about narrator casting. She has the perfect cadence and delivery for the book.
If I had any quibble though that would be the producers sticking that cheesy music over the last few lines of the book. I really wish they wouldn’t do that. The music is awful and I want to hear those final lines without it. It spoils getting to the very end after the big pay off.
I’m really looking forward to more from Leeanne Slade because this was a banger or a debut.

Cute easy read romance
Very easy to listen to and a good storyline for the hopeless romantics.
Narrator was great and did a top job of all the different characters.
One for the book club .

First Audible and wasn’t disappointed!!
Omg … so long story short I had been driving for 6 days to get to my new job and knew music wasn’t going to be enough on my looooong final drive day… downloaded my first audible book to listen to…. “The Rebound” by Leeanne Slade!
Omg my poor heart! I laughed, I cried, I screamed in frustration, I swore out loud, I held my breathe in anticipation and hope…I could not stop listening!! It was fantastic and enough dirty to have me hoping no one was listening. Wish I could listen again for the first time.😍🥰😍🥰😍
