OMG

I thought I would enough this book but no. To much darting between to many characters in a very strange story. Hard to keep on track and no real ending . Days of retracting the story to follow the line. Promising but not fullfilling

Just no...i'm stunned this made it to published.

I don't review books all that often but this one i just HAD too. If you can get passed the VERY british wiring and the VERY british narration that combine to make it so hard to even understand the story, then the writing will really test you.
The story is given in multiple threads with each thread being centered around a person in a time period or going to/from many, that's not hard to understand or flowow. What is, is when the threads are about the same person, going back and forth in both threads or when a thread starts up just to give you one bit of into with no context.
Add to this the characterization of the conclave and its members had them all acting like borderline sociopaths, had me gritting my teeth in constant aggravation of the implausibility. I found this to be the worst time travel story i have read/listened to in my 40 years and could not even bring myself to finish it.
Now submitting a refund request with Audible.
