About this listen
Do you struggle with working out regularly? Have you started an exercise routine only to be back to where you started in a couple of weeks? Then you’re in good company.
Kara had zero motivation for years. But she eventually flipped the switch and hasn’t looked back. Through her story of starting and keeping a running streak for 12 busy years and even after two childbirths, Kara shares the secret to having the drive to exercise no matter what: The Power of the Streak! Kara’s story is funny, relatable and inspiring, plus she explains how you can do the same thing with any exercise. In this quick and easy read, you’ll first learn the benefits of a workout streak.
Next, you’ll learn the essentials of starting a streak, including choosing your exercise:
- Running
- The Elliptical
- Brisk Walking
- Biking
- Swimming/Water Aerobics
- Kickboxing
- A combination of these or something else!
You’ll learn the ins and outs of how to maintain your streak over time. Last, you’ll learn about inspiration beyond the streak. Even if you’re a cynic like Kara, you'll leave feeling motivated, inspired, and excited to commit once and for all to long-lasting exercise and fitness.

Got me motivated to carry on!
A short book, not full of fitness regimes beyond my reach, but letting me set my own achievable goals. This way I’m sure my streak will continue. My reason for running is for cardio exercise, nothing to do with PB’s. As long I keep my streak alive I’ll be happy. Give it a go!
