This book is a treasure!
This book has so much to offer beyond affirmations, it felt like a journey into the world of self loving thoughts and behaviours that we all want to embody. Each affirmation was so well thought through, and based on dr orloffs years of experience observing the negative thoughts and actions that typically affect empaths, as well as their antidotes in the form of loving thoughts and healing actions and habits. There are journaling prompts to also invite self inquiry, but the focus is on the path to soothing and empowering self care, from the little everyday acts through to major shifts. This book has totally changed my approach to affirmations. While she wrote it for empaths I feel like it is valuable for everyone and especially anybody struggling with self compassion or emotional exhaustion. I loved it
