When I first read Hay back in the 1990s I thought she blames the victim, and that it was nonsense that unresolved trauma causes cancer. Listening now I really appreciate the wisdom in her words, and it feels empowering to take on the task of building self love as fundamental to all life love and health. Her affirmations and self love practices are practical and much more accessible than some teachers. I’m glad I revisited this in mid life.

The late, great Louise Hay was a giant in the self development space for an abundance of very valid reasons for which this wonderfully enriching book validates beyond any doubt as it is an extremely gentle guide to how to live a gentler life from the inside out as we heal the children we still are. I love the book is not linked to any specific religions. It help me review the word I use. reenforcement of the own power of inner strength. How we react to the problems can make a dramatic different. We need to love ourselves first.Start from our inner self.
