About this listen
With any great change, there is always strife, and Covenant University has become the front line between pure-bloods who want the Breed Order reinstated and the half-bloods who want the right to control their own destinies.
The violence is escalating, and war between the races seems inevitable. Hyperion may be out of commission, but Josie and Seth know that they have only earned a reprieve. Seth must get Josie fully prepared, which means controlling her newfound abilities, and they need to find the other demigods before the Titans do. But the gods are sensing a greater threat....
Only one thing is more dangerous than a bunch of starved Titans, and that's an out-of-control Apollyon. The aether in Josie is drawing Seth in deeper, and when lust mixes with love and gives way to power, he knows that being close to her is dangerous not only to her but to everyone around them.

Holy crap balls - cliffhanger - wow - so good
I’m just going to come right out and say it...I’m totally in love with Seth *swoon*
This audiobook is fantastic. Both narrators do an amazing job shifting between characters and accents. And wow, I have come to love Seths accent. Particularly from the female narrator (she’s fantastic). I felt earlier in, probably more in the first book that the female narrators Seth accent sounded French and the male narrators Seth accent seemed to have some Slavic twangs to it. Maybe it’s because I’m an English speaking Greek woman so the Greek accent is rather ingrained in my mind. But anyway it doesn’t detract from the listening experience, in fact the accents even if not sounding authentic, actually add a really great dimension to the whole thing.
Anyway, this book was great. Maybe a little slow to start but not boring.
I just think I love anything that JLA has written. This is my third series I’ve embarked on since I fell in love with her from Blood and Ash series (which is still my fave). This series is a close second, purely because I just love Seth. And Josie is alright too.
Warning this book ends on a cliffhanger and if your a binger like I am, be prepared you may be awake at 3am starting the third book because you HAVE to know what happens next.
