Publisher's Summary

The big media have spoken on the question of global warming, and the debate is officially over. "Be afraid, be very afraid", warns Time magazine. But have Al Gore and his environmentalist allies really proven their case? Not even close, says Christopher C. Horner.

In The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism), he exposes the shoddy science, plain dishonesty, and hidden political agenda behind the biggest phony environmental scare since, well, since green predictions of catastrophic global cooling in the 1970s.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism) provides a provocative, entertaining, and well documented exposé of some of the most shamelessly politicized pseudoscience we are likely to see in our relatively cool lifetimes.

Very comprehensive

Exposes some major flaws in the new climate change cult, which is attempting to make itself unquestionable

Interesting But Hasn't Aged Well

Good insight into climate change debate in the 2000s, but doesn't hold up to more modern scientific research and economic outlook looking forward. A lot of the book is just overly broad statements labelling all supporters of green policies as mad extremists etc, in an 'us vs them' fashion.

Argues renewable energy will never match the affordability of fossil fuels, which in 2022 is incorrect, with renewables only continuing to cheapen and new technology improving.

Makes classic anti-climate change argument that humans only emit 2% of yearly emissions, which is taken out of context. This is a misunderstanding of the yearly natural carbon cycle, in which the planet can not currently keep up with absorbing combined natural and man made emmissions.

Climate change will not kill us all in 50 years, but humans have a duty to steer the ship as best we can, and ensure Earth doesn't end up too hot like Venus or too cold like Mars, for as long as we can. Hence the ever shifting arguments of the environmental movement.
